IPC Training Video Wins 2019 Omni Award; Intervala Engineer Was Technical Content Advisor

Congrats to the IPC Association on winning a 2019 Omni Award for its Component Identification training video and to Intervala Quality Engineer Dave Stewart who served as technical content advisor for the production! We’re proud of Dave for his contributions to this award-winning video, which will help electronics workers around the world learn to identify electronic components. It’s one of many recognized electronics assembly training resources that IPC produces for our industry and which we use in our employee training programs. This year alone, five IPC-produced videos earned awards of excellence. Well done, IPC!

Intervala Thanks Employees with Christmas in July Celebration

‘Twas five months before Christmas and all through the place, employees earned cupcakes, for their work they embraced. We celebrated Christmas in July at Intervala this week as a fun way to say thank you to our talented and hard-working team! Team members packed The Breezeway employee pavilion (which was decked out for the holidays, of course) to enjoy Christmas-themed cupcakes, cupcakes and more cupcakes! The Christmas spirit was in full force as we came together to celebrate our achievements and teamwork. ‘Tis the season to celebrate our accomplishments!

Intervala Donates Sets of Pittsburgh Pirates Tickets to Help Local Service Members

Next time you or your company have tickets available for a sporting or entertainment event, consider donating them to the good people at the Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix). Vet Tix provides donated tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts and other family activities at no cost to all branches of currently serving military and veterans, including immediate family of troops killed in action. Their goal is to provide access to events that reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories and encourage service members and veterans to stay engaged with their local communities and the American life. Intervala is proud to support Vet Tix’s mission of giving back to those who gave.

As a Pittsburgh Pirates season ticket holder, we will be donating multiple sets of tickets through the end of the regular season so local service members and their families can enjoy a home game. This week a military family will be rooting for a home-team win when the Chicago Cubs are in town on July 4. Let’s go Bucs!

Intervala Marks National Safety Month with Employee Celebration

Intervala is joining thousands of other organizations across the country to celebrate National Safety Month in June. Our employees strive for zero accidents all year long and we thought this was a particularly good time to celebrate our vigilance. Employees gathered this week for special zero-shaped treats (you guessed it—donuts!) and a presentation on workplace safety from Safety Committee President Keith Nelson. To recognize committee members’ service, we also posted their photos around our facility. As with many Intervala teams, serving on the Safety Committee is open to all employees. Kudos to Keith and the entire Safety Committee for all they do to help us stay safe and healthy every day. A future with zero workplace accidents—sweet!

All donations directly support their efforts help homeless veterans gain the necessary skills to face real life challenges, secure permanent housing, and lead productive and self-sufficient lives!  #IntervalaInspires #IntervalaLife #SupportOurVets #veterans #NeverAnotherHomelessVet #Memorial Day
