East Pittsburgh, Pa., August 9, 2017 – Intervala, LLC, a full-service manufacturer of high-reliability, precision electronic and electromechanical products, announced today that David Link has joined the Company as quality manager. Link leads Intervala’s quality organization and is responsible for ensuring that products manufactured by the Company meet all necessary quality and regulatory standards before they reach the customer. He directs the Company’s quality management system and quality assurance programs.

Link has 25 years of professional quality management experience in the manufacturing arena, including an extensive background providing and leading quality, regulatory, and risk management solutions for companies that produce and distribute Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-registered medical devices (i.e., medical devices intended for use in the United States that are registered with the FDA).

Link joined Intervala from Omnicell, Inc., where as manager of quality engineering he oversaw lifecycle quality for the firm’s products and materials. He previously was employed as manager of quality assurance for Philips Electronics NV, Respironics Healthcare Division. Prior to that, he served as director of quality assurance for Pilkington Aerospace, Inc., now part of GKN plc. Link holds an MBA with emphasis in finance and strategy for operations management from the Simon Business School – University of Rochester, and earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
